We are looking forward to winning the fight for Alzheimer’s together on March 10th when we raise
our hands to pledge our support, knowing every $10,000 donation will provide 10 families with the
support they need each year to battle this disease. Together we can make a difference and
continue the fight of charities.
EVERY $10,000 RAISED PROVIDES SUPPORT TO 10 ALZHEIMER’S AND DEMENTIA
FAMILIES FOR ONE YEAR!
The Alzheimer’s and Memory Disorders Program at Barrow Neurological Institute sees 3,500
patients each year. It costs an average of $10,000 per year to provide patient and caregiver
support services for 10 Alzheimer’s and dementia patients, which includes medical assistants,
nurses, program coordinators, patient outreach and support groups, and a full time social worker.

Unfortunately, 1 out of 20 people at the age of 65 will have Alzheimer’s; and sadly 1 out of 3 when
they reach the age of 85. With people living longer, the incidence of Alzheimer’s is increasing.

Alzheimer’s is challenging for the person living with the disease and for their family and friends.
At Barrow, they are uniquely positioned to meet this challenge.
